Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how MyRecruitr ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use the Service. We are committed to handling your data — especially your CV, which contains sensitive personal and career information — responsibly.

1. Who is responsible for your data

MyRecruitr is operated by a sole trader based in the Netherlands (KVK number: 42087942). For any privacy question or request, contact info@myrecruitr.app.

2. What data we collect

• Account data: email address, name, and avatar (from email sign-in or Google OAuth).
• CV content: the file you upload, the extracted text, and the structured data our AI generates from it (name, contact details, work history, education, skills).
• Vacancy content: job descriptions you paste or the URL you submit, plus the structured data we extract from it.
• Match and usage data: match scores, generated analyses and messages, credits used, and timestamps of actions you take.
• Billing data: your subscription plan and Stripe customer/subscription IDs. We never see or store your full card number — Stripe handles that directly.
• Session data: authentication cookies set by Supabase to keep you signed in.

3. How we use your data

We use your data to:

• Provide the Service — parsing your CV/vacancy, generating match analyses and messages;
• Enforce credit limits and prevent abuse of the Service;
• Process payments and manage your subscription;
• Respond to support requests you send us;
• Maintain the security and reliability of the Service.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use your CV or vacancy content to train AI models — it is sent to our AI provider solely to generate your results.

4. Legal basis for processing (GDPR)

We process your data on the basis of contract performance (to deliver the Service you signed up for) and legitimate interest (to prevent abuse and keep the Service secure). Where we ever rely on consent — for example, future marketing emails — you may withdraw that consent at any time.

5. Who we share data with

We share data with the following service providers ("sub-processors"), only as needed to run the Service:

• Anthropic (Claude API): processes your CV and vacancy text to produce structured data, match analyses, and generated messages.
• Supabase: hosts our database, authentication, and file storage (your uploaded CV files).
• Stripe: processes subscription payments and stores your payment method on our behalf.
• Google: if you choose to sign in with Google, Google processes the OAuth login on our behalf.

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area (for example, Anthropic and Stripe are US-based). Where this occurs, we rely on the safeguards those providers offer, such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. How long we keep your data

We keep your CVs, vacancies, matches, and account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or request deletion, we will delete your personal data within a reasonable time, except where we are required to retain billing records for legal or tax purposes.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you;
• Correct inaccurate data;
• Request erasure of your data;
• Restrict or object to certain processing;
• Receive your data in a portable format;
• Lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

8. Security

We use row-level security in our database so that only you can access your own CVs, vacancies, and matches, and data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS).

9. Cookies

We only use essential session cookies set by Supabase to keep you signed in. We do not currently use third-party advertising or analytics cookies.

10. Children's privacy

The Service is not directed at individuals under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
