Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of MyRecruitr (the "Service"), operated by MyRecruitr, a sole trader based in the Netherlands ("we", "us"), registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KVK number: 42087942). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

MyRecruitr uses AI to parse CVs and job vacancies, generate a match score and gap analysis between them, and (on paid plans) draft application messages such as LinkedIn messages, emails, and cover letters. The Service is a decision-support tool, not a guarantee of any outcome.

2. Accounts

You must sign in via the authentication methods we offer (email magic link or Google) and provide accurate information. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping access to your email/Google account secure.

3. Credits and subscription plans

Access to AI features is metered using a credit system. Each plan (Free, Pro, Premium) includes a fixed number of credits that renews each billing cycle. Unused credits do not roll over or accumulate between cycles. Credit costs per action (CV parsing, vacancy parsing, matching, message generation) are shown in the app and may change with notice.

4. Billing and payment

Paid plans (Pro, Premium) are billed as recurring subscriptions processed by Stripe, our payment processor. Prices are shown in EUR and may be subject to VAT or other applicable taxes. We do not store your card details — these are handled directly by Stripe.

5. Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time from the Billing page via the Stripe customer portal. Cancellation stops future renewals; you retain access to your plan's features until the end of the current billing period. Fees already paid for the current period are non-refundable, except where required by law.

6. AI-generated content

Match scores, gap analyses, recruiter verdicts, and generated messages are produced by AI models and are provided for guidance only. They are based on patterns in the data you provide and general hiring practices — they are not a guarantee that any recruiter, company, or hiring manager will respond in the way described, and do not constitute professional career, legal, or employment advice. Always review AI-generated text before sending it to a real recruiter or employer.

7. Your content

You retain ownership of the CVs, vacancy text, and other content you upload ("User Content"). By uploading User Content, you grant us a limited license to process it — including sending it to our AI and infrastructure providers — solely to provide the Service to you. You confirm that you have the right to upload the content you submit, and that you will not upload another person's personal data without their consent.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful purposes or to upload unlawful content;
• Attempt to circumvent credit limits, rate limits, or access controls;
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or resell the Service or its outputs at scale without our permission;
• Use the Service to harass, deceive, or impersonate any person.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that using it will result in interview invitations, job offers, or any other outcome.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

11. Changes to the Service or these Terms

We may update these Terms or change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service from time to time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in the Netherlands.
