Kaizen — Continuous Improvement Events
Kaizen (Japanese for "change for good") is the practice of making small, continuous improvements involving all employees. In manufacturing, it is often implemented as structured kaizen events (also called kaizen blitzes or rapid improvement events) — focused 3–5 day workshops targeting a specific process problem.

- ·Declaring success at the end of the event without implementing a 30/60/90-day follow-up audit
- ·Solving the symptoms visible during the event without investigating whether they represent a recurring pattern
- ·Not communicating results to the broader organisation — publicising kaizen wins builds a CI culture
